Children First Foundation’s Impact in Bangladesh
Over the past two financial years, Children First Foundation has generously supported Operation Cleft by funding the surgical costs for 60 children in Bangladesh. For these children, the operations were not just medical procedures — they were life-changing moments that restored smiles, improved speech, and gave them the confidence to take part fully in school and community life.
The Foundation’s support has meant that children from some of the most disadvantaged backgrounds could receive surgery that their families could never have afforded. In many cases, this has opened the door to better health, social acceptance, and brighter futures.
Children First Foundation is a registered charity with the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission. It provides lifesaving and life-changing surgery, along with excellent medical care, for disadvantaged children from developing countries, both in Australia and overseas.
The need in Bangladesh remains great, with many children still waiting for the same chance to live healthy, confident lives. We are grateful for the role Children First Foundation has played so far, and we look forward to the possibility of their continued support in meeting this ongoing demand.
